Morocco sends more relief items to Mauritania

Rabat, Morocco - Morocco shipped a second batch of humanitarian assistance from the Casablanca port on Sunday to flood victims in the Mauritanian city of Tin Tan (750 km east of Nouakchott).
The new consignment comprises 230 tonnes of rice and 27 tonnes of canned fish, Moroccan TV channel reported.
On orders of King Mohammed VI last Monday, the Moroccan government sent an initial batch of relief aid, comprising medicines and blankets, to the flood victims in Mauritania.
